Luméa AI Copyright / DMCA Policy
1. Respect for intellectual property
Luméa respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects the same from everyone using the service. We respond to clear, complete notices of alleged copyright infringement, including under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and equivalent laws elsewhere.
2. Filing a takedown notice
To submit a notice of alleged infringement, send the following information through our contact page (category: Copyright (DMCA) notice):
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing, and where it is located within Luméa (a link or a description precise enough for us to locate it).
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
A notice missing any of the above may not be actionable. Knowingly submitting a false claim can carry legal liability.
3. What happens after a valid notice
Upon receiving a complete notice, we act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the identified material and to notify the account that posted it.
4. Counter-notice
If you believe material was removed in error or as a result of misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice through our contact page including: identification of the removed material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was a mistake or misidentification, your contact information, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts where you are located (or, if outside that jurisdiction where applicable, an appropriate judicial forum). Following a valid counter-notice, the material may be restored within the timeframe required by applicable law, unless the original complainant files a court action first.
5. Repeat infringers
Accounts found to have repeatedly infringed the rights of others are terminated.
6. Designated agent
Copyright notices for Luméa are handled through our contact page. [Before this policy is relied on for U.S. DMCA safe-harbor protection, a designated agent must additionally be registered with the U.S. Copyright Office, and that agent's name and direct contact details should be published here.]
7. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated over time. The applicable version is shown at the top of this page.
